ELIGIBILITY FOR RACING A STREET EVENT
Just a reminder to those new to the street race environment, as per rule 14.9n of the manual of motorcycle sport, you need to compete in 3 lower level events prior to racing our street race at labour weekend. Stamps in your log book or day licences are the only acceptable evidence, unless a clearance is sort via the road race commissioner prior to the event. You must also hold a full championship licence, please note a one event upgrade cannot be used for a street race, however a full upgrade is available through MNZ at a greater cost. So if you intend racing any street race in the next 12 months, consider a full championship licence to save some money. Dates between now and labour weekend to get your 3 stamps.
